Math Practice Problem

Myles and Joshua hosted a party. The party began at 6:30. Everyone had a wonderful time as they ate dinner, played games, and enjoyed some snacks. The last person left the party at 10:00. How long did the party last?

Pay It Forward

Reminder to give back to the community.

Our 3rd grade class is collecting items to help kids and moms living in a shelter. You can donate to the children or mothers.

Items to collect for the children: toys, pajamas, or anything that will help put a smile on a child's face.

Items to collect for the mothers: small stocking stuffers such as body lotions, shampoo, perfume, socks, slippers, scarf and gloves, etc.

We spend a lot of time and money considering what more our children need, let's help them to pay it forward this holiday season!

Many thanks to Mrs. Orantes for leading this collection!

 LET'S BRING SOME MAGIC TO,.....

West End Intergenerational Residences

The Residence provides temporary housing and support services to homeless young mothers and their children, and permanent supportive housing to formerly homeless and low-income older adults in New York City. It is different from other facilities in that it is mixed-age. It opened in 1989 and currently supports about 54 homeless young mothers aged 18-24, who are pregnant or with one or two children aged 7 and younger. You can learn more about the organization here: http://westendres.org/intergenerational-residence/

Bullying-Prevention-Parents-Guide

The third grade students will begin the bullying prevention curriculum. Please discuss with your child the religious values of Blessed Sacrament School and the importance of treating others respectfully and fairly. We are all brothers and sisters and school should be a safe haven for all.

If your child shares any bullying or uncomfortable situations, please reach out! It is important for everyone to feel safe and loved!

Many thanks,
Ms. Angie
