I am looking forward to a great year in religion class. This year we will start with a thorough overview of both the Old and New Testament. After these units on the Bible, we will move onto ethics/morality. There will also be lessons on the liturgical year, sacraments, prayer and world religions.
Each student in this class will have to complete 20 hours of community service and write a community service paper. More information about this project will be given in the first quarter of school.
Additionally, each 7th grader will be required to write a research paper on a saint. This assignment will take place in the third quarter of school. More information will be given in the second quarter.
