Admissions Information and Timeline

Applications for 2020-2021 School Year Open November 1st, 2019

 

Required Application Materials

All Grades:

  • SBS Application (TADS online)
  • Non-refundable application fee of $100
    • Please submit payment directly to the office or send via mail
    • Checks and money orders can be made payable to “ School of the Blessed Sacrament”
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
  • Small photo of the child
  • Immunization record
  • Recent physical exam
  • IESP or Educational Developmental Evaluation (if applicable)

 

Additional Materials Required for Grades 1-8

    • Copy of most recent report card
    • Standardized test scores (applicants for grades 4-8)
    • Teacher recommendation (form available on SBS website)
    • 504 Recommendation (if applicable)

Timeline

Early Childhood (PreK3, PreK4, Kindergarten)

In order to be considered for Early Admissions, all parts of the application must be postmarked or hand-delivered to the school office by Friday, December 13th, 2019. Any applications after December 13th will be considered on a Rolling Admissions basis.

After completed application packets are received:

      • You will receive an invitation for an interview at SBS no later than January 3rd, 2020
      • You will receive your notice for admissions by email on Friday, February 14th, 2020.

 

In order to secure a seat for your child, families of accepted students must submit a completed enrollment contract, the registration fee of $500 and a tuition deposit of $1,000 by Friday, February 28th, 2020. All deposits and fees are non-refundable.

 

Grades 1-8

In order to be considered for Early Admissions, all parts of the application must be postmarked or hand-delivered to the school office by Friday, January 3rd, 2019. Any applications after January 3rd will be considered on a Rolling Admissions basis.

After completed application packets are received:

      • You will receive an invitation for an interview at SBS no later than January 24th, 2020
      • You will receive your notice for admissions by email on Friday, March 6th, 2020.

In order to secure a seat for your child, families of accepted students must submit a completed enrollment contract, the registration fee of $500 and a tuition deposit of $500 by Friday, March 20th, 2020. All deposits and fees are non-refundable.
