Amy Dunne, Head of Lower School

Ms. Dunne joined the School of the Blessed Sacrament in August 2025.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Relations and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Before coming to SBS, Ms. Dunne served as the PreK for All Director at St. Elizabeth School.  She brings more than two decades of classroom teaching experience within the Archdiocese of New York.  As a graduate of Catholic elementary and secondary schools, Ms. Dunne has deep connections to Catholic educational values and traditions.  She combines her unwavering dedication to academic excellence and community involvement with a mission to deliver Christ-centered education that encourages students to develop spiritually, intellectually and through service to others.

Joseph Dujmovic, Head of The Barry Upper School

Mr. Dujmovic joined the School of the Blessed Sacrament in July 2024. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education from Adelphi University.  In addition, Mr. Dujmovic also holds a Master’s Degree in School Leadership and Administration from Fordham University and various New York State certifications as well.

Prior to joining SBS, Mr. Dujmovic was the Division Head of the Upper School at the Academy of St. Joseph and spent twelve years teaching English at the middle school level. Mr. Dujmovic is a firm believer in the power of Catholic education and is looking forward to all that is ahead at SBS!
