Permission slips have been sent home

Good morning everyone, 
 
Permission slips for this Friday's Christmas Pageant, which will be held at the 70th Street Campus, have been sent home.  Please note that we will dismiss directly from the 70th street campus at the conclusion of the event.  
 
Attached to that slip would be the permission slip for our January 6th Mass, which will also be at Blessed Sacrament Church.  
 
Please sign and return both and have a blessed day!  

Permission slips - 12/9 Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Good morning, 
 
Students should have gone home with a permission slip for Monday's (12/9) journey to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament (70th street).  Please sign and return as soon as possible.

Religion Exam on Baptism (5-2)

Here are the terms students should review in preparation for Wednesday's exam.  
 
It was announced in class last week (11/23) but I see I didn't post it until today.  Students had been encouraged to take their notebooks home for the break as well in order to begin preparations over the weekend.

Next Religion quiz.  Very brief as it is a half day.  Friday 11/22.  

Report Cards & Conferences

11/20 - Report cards sent home.  
11/21 - Conferences (beginning at 4pm, ending at 7pm).
11/22 - Conferences (beginning at noon, ending at 3pm). 
 
Conferences will be held in Campbell Hall.  
 
You can sign up via signupgenius.com - and I see many families have already done so.

Religion - 2nd exam - Tuesday November 5th

What to study was provided to students in class via SmartBoard on Friday AM.  

Friendly reminder re: Halloween Costumes

Halloween costume guidelines:

  • Costumes may not be demeaning to any ethnic group, race, religion, nationality, disabilities, gender, or individual at the school.

  • Costumes may not cause a disruption or distraction to the school program, i.e. no revealing costumes - bodysuits are not allowed

  • No weapons, toy weapons, or props replicating weapons are to be brought to school.

  • No costumes are allowed that would completely hide the identity of the student, i.e. gorilla suit, "Scream" character, no masks etc. 

  • Costumes must not impair a student's vision or movement.

  • Costumes may not show obscene materials or prohibited substances.

  • Please be mindful of the hemline.  If the costume is very short leggings are to be worn underneath.  On the contrary, please make sure it is not too long to avoid potential tripping on stairs.

  • Any face paint, hair color, nail polish etc. must be washed of and removed by the next day of school.
